Caring for your eyelash extensions:
(1) Avoid getting your eyelash extensions wet for at least 24 hours after getting them applied. This will give the adhesive time to fully bond with your natural lashes.
(2) Avoid oil-based products as they can weaken the adhesive bond. Choose makeup and skincare products that are oil-free.
(3) Do not rub or pull on your extensions as this can cause damage to your natural lashes. Instead, gently pat your face dry after cleansing and avoid using cotton balls or pads.
(4) Use a clean mascara wand to brush your lashes daily to keep them looking neat and tidy.
(5) Avoid sleeping on your stomach or with your face pressed against a pillow to prevent the extensions from becoming twisted or bent.
(6) Do not use eyelash curlers on your extensions as this can cause them to break or become damaged.
(7) Be gentle when washing your face and avoid getting any cleanser or water on your eyelashes. Use a makeup remover specifically designed for use with eyelash extensions.
* By following these tips, you can help to prolong the life of your eyelash extensions and keep them looking great for longer.
Tips for Maintaining 50% of Your Eyelash Extensions
To ensure that you meet the 50% requirement for a hybrid infill, consider the following tips:
- Regular Maintenance: Schedule regular touch-up appointments with your lash technician to keep your extensions in good condition. This will help prevent premature shedding and maintain the desired volume.
- Gentle Handling: Avoid rubbing or pulling on your lashes, as this can cause them to fall out prematurely. Be gentle when cleansing or applying makeup around the eye area.
- Avoid Oil-Based Products: Oil-based products can weaken the adhesive bond of your extensions, leading to premature shedding. Opt for oil-free makeup removers and cleansers to prolong the life of your lashes.
- Follow Aftercare Instructions: Your lash technician will provide specific aftercare instructions tailored to your needs. Follow these guidelines diligently to ensure the longevity and health of your eyelash extensions.
Remember, maintaining 50% of your previous eyelash extensions is crucial for a successful hybrid infill. By doing so, you’ll enjoy longer-lasting results, save time and money, and promote the overall health of your natural lashes.
